Blue Sky Music is spearheaded by Beany and Beth. Our aim is to support emerging artists in Worthing and surrounding areas by providing a platform for them to showcase their creativity and grow in confidence, developing as artists. This includes providing training/mentoring and reviewing new releases as artists progress. We have several open mics and live music events in Worthing and surrounding areas. Beany has been running open mics regularly since 2007! One of our passions is to make our events as cable-free as possible, so we use wireless microphones and transmittors/recievers for instruments and monitors. There is no need to book - it's a case of signing up on the night, although it's recommended that you arrive near the beginning to secure a slot.We are able to suggest, book and promote bands as and when requested by Worthing based venues, providing posters and social media advertising. Please email us with details - there is no charge for this, and no exclusivity - we do take a nominal Β£20 fee for each gig booked from the artist's fee to cover administrative costs but there is no further commitment required from artists or venues. We aim to work alongside other event organisers in the surrounding areas so that anyone who makes an enquiry can be signposted to the most appropriate service. This includes links with Audioactive, Northbrook College and The Factory Live, Worthing's premiere grassroots music venue. We can also provide karaoke for venues to support the singing community. Please see our karaoke page for details.Beany plays keyboard/bass and sings, while Beth plays guitar/piano and sings. We will happily play for anyone else who wants to sing or would like extra instruments during their performances. We do our own gigs both as Beth Sarah (originals) and BB Jukebox (covers - which the audience choose on the night - we never have a set list!).
